Has good info, I think the most handy macro is combining the embrace with your different cures. But some of the macro's just confused me. Some of them waste an aoe heal, or use the fairy's buffs when you could of not needed it at all during that moment. For serious fights all those should be managed manually. I guess you could have the cures and the macro's and use them seperately though.
Also for the dps ones you should probably remove the very last part where it removes cleric stance, cause in most cases you'll jump into ruin spam after the dot combo is finished.
Aside from that I was very helpful thank you! -

I think this guide is great but i did have one question which is what is your take on you healing a party member and eos healing the focus target? Such as a physick macro where you physick the OT and eos heals the MT (Focus target)?

Awesome guide! It's helping me a lot! One question though, I'm having a problem with the Macros. If I'm targeting a mob and want to heal my tank (focused) the game automatically bounces the spell back at me while my pet heals who it's supposed to. If I'm targeting another player or no one at all, the macro works as expected. It's only when I'm targeting a mob that this happens. How do I fix this?

I am interested in reading your guide but every time I try to download it I get a "download unsuccessful" error. Is the guide still being hosted?

I like the intention here, but disagree some of the content (mainly macros). I would note that your description of Sacred Soil is incorrect, it only reduces damage taken to 90% which is a 10% reduction in damage, not 25% - that being said I still generally agree with your advice on when/where to use it. Sustain has not cost 10% of your maximum HP for some time, so there is no need to be healed yourself through it.
I see a lot of arguments both for and against the use of macros on SCH and can relate to both camps – if you can multitask managing your faerie fully as well as your SCH then go nuts. If not then macros are the way forward and will make you a better healer. That being said, I disagree with your macros for a few reasons:
1. You put buffs in just about every skill. This will maximise the effectiveness of your heals when the buffs are available and mean they are rarely off cooldown. This might work well in easy content, but when you’re dealing with fights with huge damage spikes you’re potentially wasting these buffs casting them immediately, rather than saving them for a big damage spike on the tank/party. I’d also note that you haven’t included rouse, which should pretty much always be combined with whispering dawn, either manually or in a macro.
2. Some of your macros involve a lot of /wait commands which are prone to breaking should you try to use another ability. E.g. your succor macro has you use succor then wait for 2.3 seconds before using sustain. While you could potentially get off a spell in those 2.3 seconds in the middle of your macro I see this more often than not breaking and causing you to miss out on the latter half of it. That or the alternative:
3. Some of your macros take either you or the faerie out of the fight for a long time. Assuming you do not try to cast in those 2.3 seconds, you are now out of the fight for 7.3 seconds (2.5 succor, 2.3 wait, 2.5 sustain/GCD). Likewise your lustrate macro chains together three abilities, more or less forcing you to use all three rather than just hitting them separately. I’ll grant that you probably wouldn’t hit this macro if only a single lustrate was required, but given the ease of hitting the same button again, I don’t really see the need.
Basically I just feel your macros are very inflexible and would either need changed or prove a challenge around some content. Macros are nice for simultaneously casting faerie/scholar abilities at the same time, but I think when you start chaining together multiple abilities you are taking a lot of control out of your hands leaving yourself prone to the macro breaking mid-chain, or perhaps worse continuing despite a sudden change in situation, leaving you unable react.
I hope this doesn’t come across as too negative, but you have labelled this as a guide for “elite players” and while I imagine you could get by with these macros for the majority of content in the game, I suspect they would cause players real trouble in the more challenging coil turns/trials etc.-

1st the sacred soil was updated in the downloaded version, which you apparently didn't read after downloading it. Understandable, but in this case i wasn't able to update the webpage.
2nd Your problem with my macros is your failure to understand them. Try actually using them and see the results yourself. The only time that you or the fairy are "out of combat" is when your casting. The succor macro that you ripped into only had a delay of 1.5 seconds not 2.3. Are you sure you didn't download a really old version of the guide? its up to revision 3.5 now you know..
3rd Yes I count on being able to break away from an already activated macro to use another one. So does everyone who actually uses these and read all of my guide, it's mentioned in the section talking about succor.
4th and most importantly the chains of macros I created are optimized to use as little time as possible, here is a challenge for you, after you get the updated guide, write down the skills i use in any of those macros and attempt to use them in a boss fight on your own, then attempt the same with that macro.
Regarding the multitasking and not using macros.. Yes it can be done, however the human brain can not sustain the kind of focus needed to ensure you get off every combos exactly the way it needs to be done for a long period of time. If you've got a single dungeon to run and the skill to do it, sure it will work without problems. However it will come at a cost. Every Human being has their limits, some are longer than others, but a person using these macros will have a much longer ability to focus then someone trying to do all of this manually. With far fewer mistakes.

Love this guide. Greatly improved my healing. Was wondering if you would mind me continuing your guide since you stated you are discontinuing it. I have tweaked a few macros of my own that I would like to share with people. Plus I think your guide can help many more people :)

Nice guide but was wondering if using <tt> ie targets target for the dps macros would be a good idea that way you do not have to retarget after you use your dots etc? Just wondering as i have no idea just learning the class and the game really. Of course that assumes tank is targetting the mob yo uwant to dps I guess to doesn't it. Anyway curious on your thoughts on that.

I had entertained that idea, ultimately i left it out since letting the computer decide on which target with multiple mobs can sometimes make certain fights impossible. Feel free to modify it though just beware of fights were some targets are more important than others.
