Limsa Lominsa - Historical

On the south coast of the the island of Vylbrand lies the marine city-state of Limsa Lominsa. Said to be blessed by the goddess of navigation, Llymlaen, the town is spread out over countless tiny islands, each linked by durable bridges of metal and wood construction, earning her the title the "Navigator's Veil" from traveling bards who have seen the city's beauty from afar.

Limsa Lominsa is a standard thalassocracy, with energy lying in the hands associated with the governing party and its leader, the Admiral. Its economic climate is driven by shipbuilding, fishing, and blacksmithing, however the majority of wealth originates from the lucrative delivery industry.
